This page is dedicated to my research and extension outreach programs related to agricultural law and risk management education. With agricultural law, my research and extension programming is related to agricultural leasing issues, right-to-farm issues, landowner liability, legal issues related to pesticides, environmental issues, managing legal risks in agricultural operations, and developing issues in data ownership. Much of my work can be found on the Agriculture Law Education Initiative's homepage.

With risk management education, I am focused on developing issues with crop insurance, farm transition issues, liability insurance, and the 2018 Farm Bill. With

this role, I work with Dr. Lori Lynch on Maryland's Targeted States Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Risk Management Agency. You can see some of my work on the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics Extension Crop Insurance page.
